- 1.25 (a liter and a quarter) of water.

The method of work
Put the rice and lentils in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat to the mixture after boiling for 20 minutes, until fully cooked.
After the lentils and rice are cooked, add the chopped carrots, chopped potatoes, and chopped apple to them.
Add the oats and herbs (parsley and rosemary) to the mixture and stir well.
You can add a cup of water if you find that the mixture is stiff or needs some water.
Then, in a separate pan, cook the turkey on both sides for 10 minutes, until browned, being careful not to stick to the pan because it is very low in fat.
Put half of the grain and vegetable mixture, along with half of the turkey in the blender, adding half the amount of oil to them, and blend them intermittently until you get a mixture that resembles a thick purée.
Spread the mixture out on parchment paper, about 5 mm thick, to make it easy to bake.
Repeat this step with the rest of the ingredients and place them on another butter paper in the same way.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Put the two sheets of butter in the oven to bake for 45 minutes at the latest or less, until all the baking is done.
Reduce the temperature to 160°C if you notice that it is completely cooked until you are sure that it is cooking well, but beware that the mixture may burn.
Make sure that the dry food for the dog is fully baked and does not contain any soft or mushy parts, because it will knead if you leave it for a day or two, so it must be well cooked.
Take out the dry food after cooking and leave to cool gradually. Then break it into small pieces with your hands.
Place the small pieces on a new butter paper and place in the oven again until fully cooked, but be careful not to burn.
Take out the homemade dog dry food after baking it and let it cool.
This meal can be kept for 10 days in the refrigerator without any problems.
